Sideload Apps on IOs
You probably heard of the big debate Apple had because of its monopoly on the App Store. For the most time there was now "Apple approved" way to download an app that wasn't listed on the App Store.
Now with new rules by the EU and other countries, Apple was forced to allow these alternative App Stores on their devices. Previously if you wanted to do that, you had to rely on putting a signature on the Apps you downloaded from the internet and pretending you are a developer who is just "testing" their app. This signature would be revoked after seven days and then you had to do this all over.
Anyway all of this is now in the past (only if you are at least IOs version 17 which is something around 70% of all users) and you finally can download alternative Stores onto your IOs device.
Apple still makes this process tedious, time consuming and a bit overcomplicated. I had to click four times in two different applications just to download the alternative App Store (I am using Altstore). And for every App I want to download, I have to click another two times.
My preferred App Store turned out to be Altstore because it lets you add "sources" these are links to e.g. GitHub projects and you then don't have to go through the process mentioned above to just download one app.
