Is a faster PC a better PC?

Your first answer probably is Yes, of course, with a faster PC you can accomplish a lot more than with just a simple PC. But this concludes that if you don't do anything which needs a powerful PC, you don't need it. Having an extremely fast PC but not using it comes even with some downgrades:

Obviously you spent a lot money on PC parts you aren't even using at their fullest, but then there is also the running costs you pay.

A PC uses energy to run, but with more powerful components there comes also a lot more energy which is being used. And this isn't only happening when you stress your computer parts, it happens when your PC is in idle too.

I hope this showed you that a better PC doesn't need to be a faster PC, I think that a PC which suits you the best is the best PC you can get.
