50hz and 60hz, a slight difference which matters

Hertz is a measurements intendent which tells you how often the screen you are using refreshes. A higher refresh rate leads to a more fluent video playback. Historically the European Countries and Australia used the 50hz standard for their TV`s while other ones, like the USA, had 60hz. Now why does this matters for me? It`s because I recently bought a Nintendo WII.

The Problem is that with the recent improvement of screen, the 50hz standard got obsolete in Europe too, but the older consoles still display an image according to the standards at that time. You may already noticed where I am going with that. I only have displays which can display video with 60hz or higher and I only have a WII which outputs its standard 50hz pre-set.  I could change the output to 60hz in the WII`s settings, but because the WII got reset before I got it, it is impossible for me to access the menu blind.

I am currently working on a fix for that, and when I got it I will share it with you.
